Is the server up at the mo?  I've done loads of refreshes.  I've tried the IP from the race server thread but that doesn't work either  Sad

darn. Won't be there tonight as I can not download the new files due to internet issues.  Not sure whether it is my router or my provider.

Hopefully see you next week.

Thanks for the offer Eck.  Just spoke to the provider and trying the download again.  I might just make it.

Ooops - 2 DNFs.

So so sorry to Bagsy in race 2 lap 1.  My fault entirely - I just didn't get out of the way when you turned in.  I guess the rest of the carnage behind was caused by that.  Sorry all Embarrassed

Some good close and very consistant racing on display tonight.  These cars make good competition

Gonna go dig a big hole now ....

No problem Jon, that is racing, these things happen.

Couldn't really get to grips with these cars tonight, may do better next week.

I found the car easy to drive, and fun, some great laps with Eck. I got 2 consistant runs on both races, so Im happy about that and getting a few 18.9 laps.

Race reports with standings points on other thread, check them out.

Really enjoyed that one.

I had no idea what laptimes to expect. All I knew was that in GPL I never was very quick at Silverstone. And in testing I did feel slow in some corners.
So I was very happy with P2 in first quali. Just to bad I messed up in the last laps of the race. I was trying hard to keep the pressure on Martin. A little to hard. Smiley

Race 2 was good too, but I messed up the start and the first lap. When every thing had settled down a bit I was back in 2nd and couldn't keep up with Andrew.
I was pulling away with a few 10th every lap.

Thanks all.

All in all I should be happy that I got to race at all. For some reason the Brabham of Bruce just didn't work for me. Even reinstalling the mod twice (once from a fresh downloaded file) and a quick install in a fresh rFactor install didn't fix it.
After the race I tried it offline with the AI and that worked fine. But running with the AI on my own server didn't. Now I got the same message and skin problem with the Tim Schenken Brabham. When I try to join with some thing else it is still one of the Brabhams that causes the problem.
I have my server running now in the lobby (ADC Rob) with a lot of AI. Could some one try to see if he gets an error too. (hope it works as I had some problems with connecting to the server earlier this week)
